9.26.18 - Activity: Learning Outcome 2

I had volleyball practice today and working using Learning Outcome 2, I demonstrated my challenges that
I had last week, I worked hard at the skills I needed to improve on, and I definitely learned some new
skills in the process. I worked harder this week for sure, and I really enjoyed noticing my improvement,
even if it was a small amount. I am beginning to catch up to where I was before the summer, and I am also
learning new skills from Coach each day. As this is an activity, I also demonstrated physical activity with
my team which was a lot of fun. We are beginning to get our team dynamic, and doing a lot of
team-building exercises which will be crucial for our performance throughout the season.

9.12.18 - Activity: Learning Outcome 7

Today I had dance practice and I am officially an ensemble guest member! This means I am a guest
member of the high school company and we have our own performance at the end of the school year. It is
definitely more of a responsibility than just taking classes, but I do think this opportunity helped me use
Learning Outcome 7 of recognizing and considering the ethics of my choices and actions. When offered
the position in the company, I did have to think about the rest of my priorities and decide if it was a good
idea, especially being in my junior year of high school which is considered the busiest year of high school. It would be a lot more to take on, plus I would still need to dedicate enough time to participate in volleyball. It was a hard decision, but it was definitely worth it. This is another activity, and another sport which I really love to take part in.

9.4.18 - Activity: Learning Outcome 1

Today was the first day of volleyball practice. It was really great to start practicing again and I was really
excited to meet our new coach. She is very nice and I can tell that she is really going to help me achieve
the different learning outcomes and just improve my skills overall. Although I practiced during the
summer, I have noticed that my skills are not where they used to be. There is lots of room for
improvement and I am excited to get better. I used Learning Outcome 1 in order to identify my own
strengths and develop areas for growth, meaning I was able to look at what I needed to improve on, look
at what I was doing good at, and work collaboratively with my coach in order to come up with a solution
as to how to improve my skills. This being volleyball practice, our use this as an activity, and as a form of
exercise.
